Joe McInerney - Director of Leasing  

As Director of Leasing at UrbanMeritage, Joe leads the leasing efforts within the Avantage Newbury and Kenmore Row portfolios. With ten years’ experience in commercial leasing, Joe brings with him a solid background in both retail and office transactions. Prior to joining UrbanMeritage, Mr. McInerney worked as a Leasing Officer at Cummings Properties in Beverly, MA where he was responsible for sourcing and negotiating leases with new tenants at Cummings Center, a 2.3 million square foot office park. 

 

Prior to moving back home to Boston in 2016, Joe spent many years working at Crown Retail Services, a New York City based national retail real estate consulting and brokerage firm. During his tenure at Crown, Joe spent much of his time consulting and representing national retailers for locations in Manhattan and the Tri-State area.  These retail brands include Sephora, Nordstrom Rack, Kate Spade, Jack Space, Jack Wills, Lids, Body Shop, Lucky Brand, Eileen Fisher, Scotch & Soda, and the Vitamin Shoppe.  Mr. McInerney also has experience on the agency side of the business working with landlords such as Morgan Stanley, Marriott Hotels, Madison Marquette, Crown Acquisitions and Starwood Group.

 

Joe is a graduate of Fairfield University with his degree in Economics. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers organization, and is a licensed salesperson in the State of Massachusetts.
